😲🤯A Flat Earther reveals the experience that made him realize he was “wrong” while trying to prove the Earth isn’t round.

A Flat Earther has come forward to credit the moment that made him realize he was “wrong” while trying to prove the Earth isn’t round. Jeran Campanella, who has over 164,000 followers on his YouTube channel Jeranism, took a trip to Antarctica with the goal of disproving the concept of a 24-hour sun in the southern hemisphere—an idea that contradicts the flat Earth theory. According to this theory, if the Earth were flat, a 24-hour sun wouldn’t be possible.

However, Campanella’s trip only confirmed the opposite. During the summer months in Antarctica, the sun does stay in the sky for 24 hours, which would only be possible if the Earth were round. The journey was part of a challenge from Will Duffy, a “glober” (someone who believes the Earth is round), who offered Campanella an all-expenses-paid trip to Antarctica to see the truth for himself.

In a video shared on The Final Experiment YouTube channel, Campanella admits he was wrong. “Sometimes you are wrong in life,” he said, acknowledging that he was previously convinced there was no 24-hour sun. “I thought that there was no 24-hour sun… but I respect Will Duffy for being a standup guy.” Campanella went on to explain that the sun does indeed circle the southern continent, and that was a fact he couldn’t ignore anymore.

Campanella also addressed the inevitable backlash from his followers, stating, “I realize that I’ll be called a shill for just saying that, and you know what, if you’re a shill for being honest, so be it.” He ended by encouraging his audience to think for themselves, stressing that honesty matters more than stubbornly holding onto beliefs.

The term “shill” refers to someone who is accused of pretending to be a Flat Earther or a round-Earther in order to deceive others. While many of his followers may disagree with his admission, Campanella’s honesty is a bold step in acknowledging the truth.
