“A Miracle Baby”: Geneticists Are Shocked After a Black Couple Give Birth To A Blond, Blue-Eyed Child

We recently got a very touching story by email, and it’s not the kind of thing you hear every day.

It tells the story of two high school sweethearts who overcame daily obstacles to reach the conclusion that “we’ve been through a lot, and that’s okay.” We are happy to say “I love you” to one another when we wake up each day.

When Raven became pregnant in the middle of all of this, the geneticists were taken aback by the first unusual gift they received!

Here is what they have to say about their lives, and once you hear it, you will want to share it on all of your social media accounts!

Raven has the following to say:

In 2006, my spouse and I met in our ninth and tenth grade years of high school. At this point, he and his family had recently returned from Atlanta to our hometown, where he had also grown up.

They relocated back to Lake Butler to be nearer to family because his mom was fighting breast cancer and it was only him, his older sister, and his mother. He enlisted in the military in 2008, but he had to leave and return home because his mother became seriously ill and died that same year.

In retrospect, we would have like to have had our first kid during her lifetime, but life happens for a reason.

2011 saw the birth of our first daughter, who is absolutely stunning and our color.

When our second son was born in 2014, our family began to stand out.

At birth, he had blue eyes, white or fair skin, and hair that was tinted orange. Naturally, it eventually turned blonde, but his hue never changed as people had always assumed.

Naturally, when he was born, my husband—who was then only my fiancé—had doubts, but he didn’t tell me this until years later, and he’d better be happy he didn’t because he knows I’m not that kind of lady.

I slept with the milk man, people would constantly joke. Despite the hue difference, he resembled his father exactly.

We eventually got married in 2015, but we never cared about the fact that we still lacked the funds for a lavish ceremony. A pastor was my granny. A few years later, she died. However, we were married in her living room. Only my spouse and one of my younger brothers were present. Again, though, that was irrelevant.

She marred us, and that memory will always be more significant to us than a lavish wedding attended by a large number of guests.

Then, in 2016, we welcomed our second son, who resembled my dad and me with brown skin and brown eyes. It’s a busy little thing and remains so.

We were shocked once more in 2018 when we welcomed a gorgeous little girl into the world. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair complexion. Miss Sassy is exactly what she was and is.

She is our tik tok celebrity baby, and now she and her father are always impressing TikTok with their dancing skills. In case you would want to watch more of our family in action, our TikTok page is @theedenfields2.0.

Our four kids had never seen anything like it before we took them to visit a geneticist. Since they have never seen anything like it, we were informed that it is a gene that my dad, Carrie, and I have. However, no blood work was done.

They are not regarded as albinos; rather, they have ocular albinism, which the optometrist cannot even detect because they both have normal vision.

They also warned us that, as it did at that time, it might skip over each child if we had any more!

So, in 2021, we found out we were expecting once more and wondered what color our child would be. I know it’s embarrassing, but we couldn’t help it, hehe.

Our third blonde, blue-eyed, fair, white-skinned baby arrived with a big splash on June 14. Indeed, we were taken aback since we never would have imagined seeing ANOTHER ONE, but she was there, and this time the color didn’t skip.

January 9, 2023 The birth of Patricia Ellie Amor Edenfield. Since we had not chosen any girl names and intended to name him after a relative of my husband’s who had recently died in a car accident, we were hoping for a boy. However, my husband and I looked at one other as the sun was sinking on the day she was born, and he asked, “What about Patricia?”

Since his mother’s name was Patricia and her Nick name was Sunshine, it made him cry when we eventually came up with the middle name as well. By naming our next child after his mother, we felt as though we were giving her life again. And there she was, another newborn girl with pale complexion, blue eyes, and blonde hair!

Despite our challenges and ups and downs, we are aware that we are eternally fortunate regardless of what life may throw at us.

As a family, we are always happy to be able to go out and brighten someone’s day and make them smile.

We get a lot of inquiries, some of which are a little strange and bizarre, but we also constantly hear things like “we need our own TV show” or “our kids need to be models.” Some people also attempt to be negative.

However, none of that ever depresses us; we simply wake up each day knowing that we have each other as family and can say, “I love you.”
