It was revealed today that Kate got a tattoo in memory of her late boyfriend. She posted a photo with the dog Nala, dressed in a white top and colorful shorts while lying in bed. She was hugging the dog, pressing her face to it. On her index and middle fingers, a new tattoo in the shape of angel wings was noticed. This is a new tattoo, as it was not visible on her hand during Liam’s funeral.
The author of the hit Strip That Down had been dating the former waitress and blogger for the last two years. Kate’s circle said that she continues to grieve for Liam and is preparing to celebrate Christmas without him. The couple had adopted Nala from a shelter a month before the tragedy. They planned to train the dog and find her new owners.
“I really love her. She’s so sweet. She briefly became a new member of our family. We took her in for a while and will find her a truly loving family, I think. But we can be that good family,” Liam had said. “We met three different dogs, and this one we liked the most. She’s so sweet. She’s only four months old. Her previous owners abandoned her—left her at the shelter. We wanted to give her a second chance and a better life,” Kate added. It seems that after Liam’s death, Kate decided to keep the dog as a memory of the artist.
A few days after her boyfriend’s death, Kate revealed that they had planned to marry in 2025. “I wish you could see the huge impact you had on the world, even though it’s so hard right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone—millions of fans, your family, your friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved. You are—because I can’t say ‘were’—my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, it lit up every room you entered. I feel like I lost the best part of myself,” Kate wrote after the singer’s death.
Kate attended Liam’s funeral on November 20 in England, where all the members of One Direction—Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles—were also present. Liam left behind a 7-year-old son, Bear, from his previous relationship with Cheryl Cole. The investigation into the circumstances of Liam’s death is still ongoing.
Last week, a judge summoned two suspects for questioning, but they refused to testify. Several arrests have already been made in connection with the fatal incident. In early November, the Argentine prosecutor confirmed the detention of three people—two hotel employees and one of Liam’s friends. They have officially been charged with leaving a person in danger, which led to death, as well as drug trafficking and illegal possession of drugs. Toxicology tests revealed traces of alcohol, drugs, and an antidepressant in the singer’s body.
