The American star was married to marketing specialist Jordan Bratman, with whom she has a 16-year-old son, Max. She has been in a common-law marriage with Matthew Rutler for 24 years, with whom she is raising a 10-year-old daughter, Summer. Christina spoke about her intimate life for the first time.
“I’m not afraid to talk about sex. There’s nothing shameful about it, it’s normal, it’s natural. Sex is very important. I’ve always wanted to be myself in terms of sexuality. It’s always been important to me. Sexuality is a beautiful thing, and we as women need to take care of it. We need to really make sure that we put ourselves first and what that means to us,” Aguilera noted.
At the same time, the singer admitted that in her circle of friends, she was one of the last to lose her virginity. “I think we all start learning about our bodies as kids. It started early. I think some people have more sensitive areas. It’s funny that I’m having this conversation because I was probably the last one to lose my virginity. I lost my virginity later than you think,” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper.
The six-time Grammy Award winner continues to explore her sexuality. “I love intimacy. Every person is different, and that’s what I love about sexuality. I love diving into it and learning how things work — how open you are, how submissive you are. At first, no one knows what they’re doing. You watch movies and you want everything to be clear from the start. Sex is fun. It’s so important to know your body. You only learn about your body if you spend time alone first, so you know what to ask for from a partner or what you like,” Christina noted.
The “What a Girl Wants” singer admitted that she uses adult toys. “The vibrator changed my life when I first started exploring myself. I remember I had one that was so small I could put it in my bag on the plane. It’s nice. We experimented with that. You can put lube on your nightstand, it’s your best friend. This product is good for you.” The Burlesque actress also said she loves oral sex. According to her, she has had sex on the studio and on planes. “Sex on the plane is fun. We’ve definitely hidden something under the blankets when the seats were roomy enough. I can’t believe we haven’t been caught so many times in so many situations. On international flights, when the lights go out, you can always be creative. You can use blankets. You have to wait until everyone goes to bed. That sets the mood,” added the owner of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
