’80s Teen Star Leaves Hollywood to Follow Christianity’: What Does the 54-Year-Old Star Look Like Now?

Iconic Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron quickly became one of the most beloved young actors of the 1980s, appearing on the covers of teen magazines and winning the hearts of countless fans. However, as his fame grew, he began to feel that Hollywood might not be his true calling.

In the early 1990s, at the height of his popularity, he made a decision that shocked many. He dedicated himself to living his life guided by his faith. This choice not only changed his career path, but also changed his entire outlook on life.

By the age of 17, his newfound beliefs were beginning to affect his work on Growing Pains. The shift left producers and actors are worried about how it might affect the show.

After leaving Hollywood, Kirk Cameron decided to start his life from scratch. At the age of 20, he married his colleague Chelsea Noble, and they began to build a life together, far from the world of entertainment. Over the years, their family had six children, four of whom they adopted.

In July 2024, Cameron reached a new milestone in his life when he and Noble became grandparents. He announced the arrival of his granddaughter, Maya Jeanne Noble Bower, with a joyful post on social media.

While his family grows, Cameron also continues to work on projects that resonate with his beliefs. In 2022, he released Lifemark, a story celebrating adoption and emphasizing the value of life, which remains close to his heart.
