Twenty-nine-year-old Lacey was trapped in a body that weighed more than 300 kilograms. Constant pain, difficulty performing basic tasks and overwhelming loneliness became her daily reality.

Food was her only solace. She spent hours consuming unhealthy food, finding pleasure in every bite. This bad habit, combined with a lack of physical activity, led to significant weight gain.

As a child, Lacy’s parents worked long hours, leaving her to fend for herself. She often turned to food for comfort, consuming excessive amounts of sugary and fatty foods. By age 9, she was already significantly overweight.

Inspired by her mother’s successful weight loss, Lacey decided to seek help. She applied to be on My 700-Pound Life and was accepted onto the program.

With the support of her medical team and her mother, Lacey began a challenging journey. She learned to control portions, make healthier food choices, and gradually increase her physical activity.

As she lost weight, Lacey began to feel a new sense of hope and purpose. She made new friends, became more active, and began living a full life. After three years of hard work and dedication, she reached her 180-pound weight and underwent surgery to remove excess skin.

Lacey’s transformation is a testament to the power of determination and the importance of asking for help. Her story inspires others to overcome adversity and live healthier lives.
