How to interrupt the royal Christmas agenda? Only the intrigue with the children, that’s the only thing that interests anyone so far.
They weren’t invited to Sandringham, billionaire friends won’t come
The Sussexes are doomed to celebrate Christmas with their children and Doria and are trying to pretend that it will really bring them great pleasure. In an interview with Marie Claire magazine last month, Meghan said that Archie and Lilibet have Christmas traditions. Especially Lilibet, who turned 3 on June 4! But she is already leaving carrots for the reindeer.

In his memoir, Harry said they were continuing to follow royal traditions.
“It was Christmas Eve. We were FaceTimed with a few friends, including a few in the UK. We were watching Archie run around the tree. And we were opening presents, as is the Windsor tradition.”

2019 – Archie’s first Christmas in Canada
Recall that the Queen invited them to Sandringham, but the Duke and Duchess arrogantly refused and went to Canada to celebrate Christmas, and a few weeks later announced their departure from the royal family.

A 2019 card with baby “Archie” in the center, he was seven months old. In the background are proud parents and a Christmas tree. At that time, the card was issued by the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, of which the Duke and Duchess were presidents at the time.
In 2020, the Sussexes celebrated their first Christmas in their new home in Montecito
For this occasion, a photo taken by Doria was processed in Photoshop and received a card in which the whole family with 18-month-old Archie and dogs Guy and Pula settled in a playhouse.

Meghan’s former patron, the animal welfare charity Mayhew, was chosen for distribution. The charity’s former CEO Caroline Yates told Hello! magazine in January 21 that they were “so excited” to be honoured.
“We had no idea what it was going to look like until we got the picture, and when we saw it we were like, ‘Wow!’ It’s very family-like, it was really sweet.”
The 2021 card features Lilibet for the first time
The portrait of the Sussexes was taken by Harry and Meghan’s wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who is also likely responsible for the Photoshop manipulation, which was so obvious that everyone noticed.

Meghan holds up her six-month-old baby girl while Harry holds Archie close to him. The card is captioned:
“Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter Lilibet. Archie made us ‘mum’ and ‘dad’ and Lily made us a family.”
A 2022 photo, now without children

Taken during the Duke and Duchess’ visit to the Ripple of Hope Awards in New York City, this card is also signed:
“Wishing you a joyful holiday season. From our family to yours and on behalf of our teams at Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, we wish you health, peace and a happy new year.”
Signature: “Best wishes, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
Three days before the card was released, the second part of the Harry and Meghan film was released on Netflix.
The 2023 card is also child-free

Instead of a family photo, as is customary in the royal family, we saw Harry and Meghan again at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf. The card is signed:
“Wishing you a joyful holiday season. From our family to yours and on behalf of our teams at Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, we wish you health, peace and a happy new year.”
Caption: “Best wishes, Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
Now I understand why the article in Hello! is called “Rare Christmas cards of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with Harry and Meghan” – for the last two years, Archie and Lilibet have simply not appeared next to their parents in Christmas photos, so photos with them are really rare.
Considering that Kate is nominated for the Person of the Year award this year, I think that in order to beat the Sussexes, they will have to make another Christmas card with their children. Without children, it will be weak. Do you agree? Write a comment!
