Hollywood star Naomi Watts wants women to know that menopause doesn’t mean the end of their sex lives. Watts believes that this period can be the best time for a woman to experience the best sex of her life, thanks to increased confidence and experience.
When Naomi first started dating her husband, Billy Crudup, she had some doubts about how he would react to her wearing an estrogen patch. To ease her fears, the actress immediately decided to have an open conversation with her new partner.
“I was wearing the patch and worried that my new boyfriend would see it,” she explained. As is known, the estrogen patch helps compensate for a lack of estrogen during menopause.
She continued, “As soon as I confessed openly, despite how uncomfortable and difficult it was for me – I was so embarrassed about it – he knew exactly how to react, what signals to follow, and he was 100% empathetic. And I can confidently say that that night, we had, you know, really great sex.”
