According to Baker, the main reason Megan left him last year wasn’t infidelity, but his behavior. He admits he had become excessively immersed in partying, with alcohol flowing freely. Additionally, as Megan had previously mentioned, Baker struggled with substance abuse. She had supported him through his addiction, even claiming that he had overcome it with her help. However, he relapsed, and Fox decided to leave him. The news of their broken engagement came in February of last year.
When Baker realized what had happened, he made a firm decision to win Megan back. He told her he was committed to quitting his addiction for good, and for the first time in his life, he checked into a rehab facility.
