The news that Justin Bieber is about to become a father seems to have had an impact on his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. The singer, who had never previously mentioned wanting to have children, suddenly made a positive decision regarding this matter. However, it wasn’t Selena who made the announcement herself; rather, it was her boyfriend Benny Blanco, with whom she plans to have her first child.
During an appearance on Howard Stern’s talk show, Benny was subjected to a full “interrogation” on the topic. At first, he tried to give evasive answers, but when Stern directly asked Blanco if he was planning to become a father and whether he had discussed this with his girlfriend, he had to respond. Benny revealed that, recently, he and Selena have been talking about it every day, and that having a child is their immediate goal. As for the number of children they plan to have, Benny hinted that he would be happy if they didn’t stop at just one. According to Blanco, he has always been surrounded by children—nieces, nephews, and godchildren—and he really enjoys it. So, he wouldn’t mind having even more.
Benny also mentioned that, in the future, he sees himself and Selena as husband and wife. However, when asked if he was ready to propose, Blanco declined to answer. He said that everything is going so well in his life with Selena that he hasn’t even thought about making any changes yet.
As a reminder, Selena and Benny’s relationship became public in December of last year, and since then, Selena has seemed truly happy. She claims that she has never felt as good with any other man as she does with Benny. And, by the way, she has someone to compare him to, as before Benny, she went through two significant relationships—with Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, and with Justin Bieber—her greatest love.
