The father of two stated, “I’ve been quietly struggling for a really, really long time, and I’ve just been in fear, living in fear, living in survival mode, pretty much on autopilot for a really long time just trying to maintain my place as a father in Ava and Zoe’s lives.”
Jamie was diagnosed with acute social anxiety, situational depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder after the breakup.
Jamie further asserted that Nikki was “controlling,” attempted to “isolate him” from his loved ones, and intended to “destroy his career.”
He claimed that Nikki was lying to everyone he knew about him.
“I want to be able to provide the girls with the best lives possible, but there are always limitations.” I have to give up more and more and more all the time. He asserted, “Nikki only wanted my life to be as difficult as possible.”
Nikki became so enraged that she attacked him after he refused to invite her to accompany him and the girls on his all-paid trip to Disneyland.
Jamie stated that Nikki mistreated him because she thought he was growing old when he turned forty. “Obviously, I wasn’t going to bring the person who abuses me on a trip like that,” Jamie added.
“I deal with this kind of stuff,” he remarked. “I’ve also had to deal with violence.”
She had entered the house and acted aggressively. repeatedly kicked me, punched me, and generally behaved horribly. This was in front of my mother and the children. Similar incidents have also occurred during our marriage. “I always struggled with Nikki because she was like two different people,” he said.
Jamie allegedly felt his fists clench during one of Nikki’s several attacks with heavy objects, and he simply fled the house. He claimed that he was never a man who would ever harm or strike a woman, and that Nikki’s action of making him want to strike her back was sufficient warning that he should go.
For years, I’ve been living in survival mode. My sense of self-worth has simply fallen apart. In the video, Jamie stated, “I’ve lost my sense of who I am outside of being a father.”
