On September 25, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas had double the reason to celebrate as they both shared their birthdays on the same day. Michael expressed his love for his wife with a heartfelt message: “I love you with all my heart! May this be your best year yet!”
As is their tradition, the couple celebrated publicly on their social media. Catherine posted a nostalgic throwback photo from 25 years ago, capturing the early days of their marriage. Taken in New York, the picture showed them celebrating their first joint birthday.

“In my birthday suit! After over 25 years of celebrating our shared birthdays, I’m running out of gift ideas for my husband! This is gift option number two—the first was golf balls… obviously,” she jokingly wrote in the caption. Catherine had previously shared that on September 25, 1999, they had already been celebrating together—Catherine turning 30 and Michael 55.

The post quickly went viral, attracting over 108,000 likes and more than 2,500 comments within hours. Fans were full of compliments, with some saying: “Let’s be honest, if Catherine looks like this now, every day is Michael’s birthday,” “Happy Birthday! Absolutely stunning,” “If my body looked like hers at her age, I’d post every nude photo I had, and I wouldn’t care what anyone thought,” and “Such a great gift for your husband and fans—what a gorgeous sight. Wishing you a joyful and blessed birthday.”

Michael also took to social media to wish Catherine a happy birthday, sharing a black-and-white photo of her. “To my birthday twin, I love you with all my heart! May your new year be the best yet!” he wrote. Catherine replied in the comments, “Thank you, darling!” along with a festive emoji.

The couple married on November 18, 2000, in New York, and together they have two grown children: 24-year-old Dylan and 21-year-old Carys. Michael also has a 45-year-old son, Cameron, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker. With Carys having graduated high school in 2021, Michael admitted that he and Catherine are now entering a new chapter in their relationship. “It’s scary. Really scary. You look at each other and think, ‘Well, it’s just you and me, babe.’ You forget how much of your conversations revolve around your kids and their futures, and one day, you’re just left looking at each other.”
