Nicole Kidman revealed the truth behind the iconic 2001 photo during an interview for British *GQ*. The Hollywood actress graced the cover of the latest “Man of the Year” issue, published on Monday.
“That’s not true,” the 57-year-old Oscar winner stated regarding the widely circulated image.
In the retro photo, Kidman is seen dancing in a patterned top, green capri pants, and sneakers. “That wasn’t me,” she said. “It was from a movie. It wasn’t real life. I recognize that look!”
However, she did not specify which movie she was referring to. The photo made headlines in September this year when Jenna Dewan shared it on social media after she and her ex-husband, Channing Tatum, finalized their divorce.
Kidman married Tom Cruise in 1990, and the couple adopted a daughter, Isabella, now 31, and a son, Connor, now 29, before they separated in 2001. After their breakup, Cruise met Katie Holmes, whom he was married to from 2006 to 2012. Meanwhile, Kidman began dating Keith Urban in 2005, and they have been married ever since.
