Every Day This Grandma Covers Her Body In Silver Paint And Goes Outside: You Won’t Believe Why She Does It

Every day, this grandma covers herself in silver paint and steps outside—You won’t believe the surprising reason behind her unique routine! 🌟

Let us share the touching story of Mumun, a grandmother from Malaysia who faced a huge challenge. Her journey really touched us and we hope it inspires you too.

Mumun, a woman in her sixties, had to change her life after her children divorced and abandoned their two-year-old son, Reyhan.

One can imagine the pain of this grandmother, who was forced to take on parental responsibilities at an age when many people think about relaxing and resting. However, for her, it was a hopeless situation. The love she felt for Reyhan was above all else.

Before this story, Mumun worked as a housekeeper. But without a stable job and with a grandson to care for, she had to find an immediate solution. She sold all her belongings to buy cans of silver paint, and thus became a street statue. Yes, that’s right. A living statue.

Every day, she covers her body with silver paint, ready to withstand the weather and the unkind looks of passersby. Working outside in the hot sun is tiring, but for Mumun, it is very important.

She motion standsless, with little Reyhan in her arms, waiting for a generous passerby to leave a coin.

Mumun earns between three and six dollars a day. Not much, right? But every penny goes to feed Reyhan. When someone drops a coin into her box, she begins to move and sing softly before returning to a motionless state.

And so she repeats this cycle all day until nightfall.

Mumun describes how difficult it is for her to juggle work, care for Reyhan and constantly worry about whether she will have enough food to feed her grandson in the evening. “The main thing is to buy food for Reyhan,” she says.

Grandma never complains, determined to give her grandson the best.
