The world’s tallest man and shortest woman meet for an unusual photo shoot

An incredible meeting of two world record holders

She is the world’s shortest woman, standing at just 60cm tall, and she recently met the world’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen, a 35-year-old from Turkey. At 2.51m, Kosen is a skyscraper compared to Jyoti Amge, who is almost as tall as one of the giant’s shoes.

They recently got together for a photo shoot in Egypt and the results are simply incredible!

Amge’s height is the result of a condition called achondroplasia. In 2001, she was recognized as the world’s smallest woman. At the time, she was only 18 years old and weighed only 5 kg!

A petite woman always needs specially made clothes, plates and cutlery to fit her tiny frame. On the other hand, Kosen also needs many of the items he uses on a daily basis, made to order, but in a huge size.

Our Turkish giant’s height is a consequence of pituitary gigantism. As a result, Sultan Kosen was called the tallest man in the world and in 2001 he was included in the Guinness Book of Records.

“I never thought I’d be in the record books. I dreamed about it, but it ended up being a huge surprise,” Kosen said. In fact, he probably shouldn’t have been surprised, since only ten people in the world have ever been taller than 2.43 meters, according to Guinness.

The shots from the photo shoot are very unusual, don’t you agree?
