Back in 1997, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith pledged their love to each other and promised never to separate, no matter the circumstances. And they’ve worked hard to keep that promise ever since, at least in terms of their official status. A year ago, Jada shocked the public by revealing that she and Will had been living separately for many years.
“I think by 2016, we were just tired of trying. I think we were both still living in our fantasies about what the other person should be,” she explained in an interview, adding that, on paper, they are still married.
However, it seems that it’s not just their legal bond that keeps them together. The couple was recently spotted enjoying an evening at the famous vegan restaurant Crossroads in Calabasas, co-owned by Travis Barker. For the evening out with friends, they opted for cozy casual attire. Jada wore loose ripped jeans and a white sweater, topped with a gold bomber jacket. Will chose gray trousers and a matching shirt over a simple white t-shirt. As they left the restaurant in high spirits, Jada affectionately wrapped her arm around Will’s waist while he had his hand on her shoulder.
