Beloved Maggie Smith has been gone for many days, but the last photos of the actress have spread on the Internet. The star’s fans are in shock. She is like an old grandma.

Lady Maggie Smith was arguably one of the greatest actresses of her generation. Whether you loved her for Harry Potter or Downton Abbey, her loss will certainly be felt.
Actress Lady Maggie Smith, best known for her roles as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter series and Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham in Downton Abbey, has died aged 89, her family has said.
A joint statement from her sons Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin said: “It is with great sadness that we must announce the death of Lady Maggie Smith.”

The statement continued: “She passed away peacefully in hospital this morning, Friday 27th September. She was very private but was close to her friends and family at the end. She leaves behind two sons and five loving grandchildren who are devastated by the loss of their mother and grandmother.”
In a statement they expressed gratitude to the hospital and its staff: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for their care and unconditional kindness during her final days.”
The statement concluded with the family saying: “We thank you for all the kind messages and support and ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

The news of her death came as a real shock. The actress was last seen in public last year during the men’s singles final at Wimbledon. She was beautifully dressed for the occasion. She wore a navy blue dress with elegant polka dots.
She completed the look with black leather heels and a blue coat. She carried a matching dark blue leather bag over her shoulder.
Since the actress’s public appearances were rare, fans were naturally shocked to see her.

Her fans were clearly delighted that the actress looked good!
