Kate Middleton, who has triumphed over cancer, has returned to her royal duties. She is carefully rebuilding her daily routine, which she had become accustomed to over the years. Kate lost a lot of weight during her chemotherapy treatments, and now she is working to regain her strength and energy through regular workouts.
“As far as I understand, Catherine is doing very well. She’s back in the gym and doing everything she wants to do. Her work is good for her emotional well-being, but she needs to be cautious and not overdo it. She is determined, motivated, and taking care of herself,” said royal expert Robert Jobson.
Before her illness, Middleton was known as one of the hardest-working members of the British royal family. In the near future, she will be making public appearances, but now she is adopting a “less is more” approach. The Princess of Wales plans to carefully select events to ensure her public appearances have the greatest impact.
“I really believe we’ll see her much more often, and she will continue to make public appearances, as well as work behind the scenes. But instead of traveling around the country constantly, like she did before, I think Kate will focus on more significant events. She will do things her way, gradually returning and doing what is important to her because she doesn’t want to get sick again. And, as I’ve been told, she now has a different perspective on things,” Jobson said.
Recently, Prince William has been making solo visits, and he is currently on a solo tour in Africa. While he certainly feels more comfortable with his wife by his side, he supports her in everything, especially as they have three growing children—11-year-old George, 9-year-old Charlotte, and 6-year-old Louis.
“Kate will focus on her family, but she will still be able to attend key events. William really wants her to return, but I don’t think that necessarily means we’ll see a flood of events one after the other. They likely understand that if you’re constantly in the public eye, it loses its impact. You can actually make a bigger impression if you’re seen less often, as Catherine is the main star of the royal family.”
The heir to the throne and his wife are already planning events for 2025. They are expected to embark on at least one overseas tour. The couple is set to make an official trip to Italy at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a trip that had to be postponed earlier this year. “Kate and William will start traveling again. I would expect a trip to Canada or somewhere else, and their visit to Italy could be completed in two or three days,” added the biographer.
