English singer Adele, who recently burst into tears at her concert after seeing Celine Dion, has revealed that she has partial hearing loss. The singer says that an ear infection caused such severe pain that she wanted to “cut off her ear.” Adele told fans about her painful condition during a performance in Las Vegas.
She said that it was a real trial. The artist said that the condition was caused by rare bacteria transmitted through water. Adele fell ill during her ten-day residency in Munich in August. She explained that the infection not only caused severe discomfort, but also led to temporary hearing loss in her left ear.
I have never had [an ear infection] before. This is the most painful thing that has ever happened to me. It was worse than childbirth. I took the wrong antibiotics for a few days, and I managed to find one that started to work, – the singer admitted.
Now the singer no longer feels pain, but says that the experience was so unbearable that she “felt like cutting off her ear several times.” Let’s hope the singer never experiences anything like that again!
