The 50-year-old actress admitted that she’s not afraid to try “safe things,” as most minor procedures are reversible. In an interview, Eva Mendes discussed beauty and cosmetic enhancements.
“If you get a Botox injection, the effect will wear off if you don’t like it. There were times when I regretted something, and then you just wait,” said Ryan Gosling’s wife. She also revealed that in the past, she considered laser jaw correction because she found her jaw “strange.”
Eva Mendes shared her thoughts on aging as well. She celebrated her 50th birthday in March. “It was completely fine. It’s just that this number sounds crazy. I feel like a girl inside, and I think, ‘Oh God, I’m not a girl anymore,'” she said. She added that at this stage in her life, she feels “totally out of it”: “I forget everything. I think that’s part of being 50. I think it’s hormonal changes.”
Mendes also expressed how she defines beauty at her age. “At 50, I define beauty as something that can’t be defined. It can be anything. It’s all around you,” she noted. “If you’re open to it, you’ll see it everywhere,” the star concluded.
