Cheryl Cole breaks her silence on Liam Payne’s tragic death, sharing a heartfelt tribute and a rare photo of their son with his late father. 💔

Friends and family continue to react to the sudden tragic death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne. Earlier, the legendary boy band colleagues shared their first joint message in many years , which, however, upset many fans. And Robbie Williams, who was Liam’s mentor on the British show X Factor, dedicated a simply heartbreaking post to his protégé . The day before, his last lover contacted the late singer : she left Argentina shortly before the tragedy, after which Liam had a nervous breakdown.

And now another ex-lover of the artist has broken the silence – British singer Cheryl Cole, whom he dated from 2016 to 2018. On a forbidden network, she published a rare photo of Payne with their newborn son. Bear was born back in 2017, but it is unlikely that you will be able to find a photo of the grown-up boy on the Internet: the parents decided not to put their heir on display on social networks.

The singer addressed her followers and urged them to remember that Liam was not only a superstar, but also an ordinary person whose loved ones are now going through very difficult times.

” As I try to process this devastating event and deal with my own grief during this incredibly painful time, I would like to remind everyone that we have lost a man. Liam was not only a pop star and a celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a close friend and a father to our 7-year-old son. A son who now has to face the reality that he will never see his father again .”

Cole admitted that she worries about how her son will be affected by unfounded fan theories and negative comments surrounding his father’s death. “My biggest worry is that Bear will one day be exposed to the vile messages and exploitation in the media that we have seen over the last two days. It breaks my heart even more that I won’t be able to protect him from this in the future,” she wrote.

At the end of her emotional post, the singer called on her followers to respect the memory of the late artist and the feelings of his loved ones.

” I implore you to consider what good some of these messages do other than cause further harm to everyone left to pick up the pieces. Before you leave a comment or make a video, ask yourself: would you want your child or family to see this? Please show Liam some respect at least after his death so he can finally rest in peace .”
