During the ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, Julia Roberts shared the story of her love. The actress revealed that her romance with her second husband, Daniel Moder, began while he was still married. She mentioned this during her speech dedicated to the Dave Matthews Band.
According to the “Pretty Woman” star, the music of this band changed her life. “I danced with my husband for the first time almost 25 years ago to a Dave Matthews Band song,” the Oscar-winning actress said from the stage at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. “And it was a lucky combination because since then, I’ve been crazy about my husband and this band. Can we get a round of applause for that? Any Dave Matthews Band fans here? We’re not just fans; we are lifelong devotees!”

The couple met in 2000 while filming Gore Verbinski’s “The Mexican.” At that time, the actress was in a relationship with Benjamin Bratt, which had started in 1998, and Danny was married to Vera Steinberg since 1997.
In 2003, Oprah Winfrey asked Roberts if their relationship had caused Moder’s split from his wife. The actress responded, “No. It’s easy to point fingers at me — ‘She did it’ — and I see that. I don’t blame people for pointing fingers; it’s just not true.”

Julia and cinematographer Daniel have worked together on eight films, the most recent being the 2015 crime drama “Secret in Their Eyes” by Billy Ray.
In July, Julia Roberts and 55-year-old Emmy-nominated cinematographer celebrated 22 years of marriage. They are parents to 17-year-old son Henry and 19-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus.
