The day after he was seen at the nightclub, Stockholm police received a report from a woman claiming that the soccer player raped her in a hotel.
The athlete’s associates have called the accusations absurd. Kylian himself commented on the incident, stating that the rape allegation is fake and emerged just before his court case against his former club, PSG, where he is seeking €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. He believes this could be the work of detractors.
In the near future, the Stockholm police plan to hold an official press conference regarding the rape case. According to Swedish media, Kylian has been designated as a “reasonably suspected” individual, which is the lowest level of suspicion—his guilt has yet to be proven.
