How I Transformed a Tired House into a Brick Mansion with My Own Hands: Before and After Photos

From worn-out to wow! Discover the incredible transformation of a tired house into a stunning brick mansion, all done by hand—before and after photos that will leave you amazed!

I decided that if I started the renovation, I would do everything well and for a long time. I dream of celebrating the New Year at the dacha, and generally being there more often. Therefore, the first thing I did was insulate the outer walls and the foundation of the house.

Before starting the work, I made a detailed marking of the entire house: I measured the area of the walls, the perimeter, the sizes of windows and doors, etc. Then I ordered the necessary materials from an online store.

Installing the façade panels was not a difficult task, especially after I had finished the insulation. The tools I needed were a hammer, nails, a construction cord, and a cutting tool.

Using chalk line, I marked the surface to space the panels evenly.

I then opened several boxes of tiles and mixed the contents to avoid obvious color boundaries on the facade.

Then I installed the main row of tiles, cutting off the excess elements. I needed these pieces to decorate the windows and doors.

When attaching each subsequent row of tiles, I maintained an offset, which was easy to do thanks to special marks on the tiles.

After completing the main work, I decorated the door and window openings using special elements that perfectly match the color of the facade tiles.

The result of my efforts was a house that pleases the eye. It is warm and cozy inside, and the exterior finish has withstood the winter frosts well. The tiles retain their original appearance even after a year and a half.

My neighbors were amazed by the transformation of my house, and my friends even thought that I built a new building! I hope my experience will be useful to you too.
