Emma, a 14-year-old from Vienna, Austria, is not only an incredible singer but also a talented rapper, and her appearance on The Voice Kids certainly impressed.
She chose to perform Eminem’s 2004 hit “Mockingbird” from the Encore album to demonstrate that young women can rap, and all the judges turned around immediately, bringing tears to her family’s eyes.
The Voice Kids is a junior version of The Voice of Germany, a reality talent show produced by John de Mol. It’s designed for kids aged 7 to 15 and is based on the original The Voice Kids from Holland.
To everyone’s surprise, Eminem took notice of the young talent. The official TikTok account for The Voice Kids shared Emma’s performance with the caption: “Emma is here to bring Eminem’s ‘Mockingbird’ to the world.” In the comments, Eminem responded with a “Face with Raised Eyebrow” emoji. The delighted admin of The Voice Kids replied, “The Real Slim Shady is in da house!”
