Meghan Markle says she was the ‘most bullied person in the world’ during pregnancy

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex has spoken about the difficulties of living in a modern, technology-saturated environment. Meghan Markle has spoken about her experience of cyberbullying.

Prince Harry’s wife met with a group of children and teenagers at an event organised by the American organisation for girls and the HalfTheStory Foundation, which helps children adapt to a world of ever-changing technology.

Larisa May, the founder of the foundation, said that the conversation at the meeting was about the difficulties of growing up in a digital world. Markle appeared in a casual look. She put on a shirt with rolled-up sleeves and white trousers, emphasizing her waist with a contrasting belt. Meghan called herself “the most bullied person in the world.” She admitted that she faced bullying when she was pregnant.

“I try to stay away from it now for my own well-being. The bulk of the bullying and abuse came when I was pregnant with each of my children. You just think about it and you wonder why people can be so hateful. It’s not just bullying, it’s cruel. Why would you do that when a woman is pregnant or just after giving birth, when it’s such a tender and sacred time,” Meghan said.

The British king’s daughter-in-law took everything to heart also because of her hormonal state. “It’s an instinct to protect your child and yourself,” the Daily Mail quotes the Duchess as saying.

There have been rumors of discord between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lately. The king’s son even celebrated his 40th birthday without his wife.
