The 55-year-old actress and singer revealed that she and Ben Affleck had been living apart since April. Recently, Affleck was spotted in Santa Monica with his 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina.
The actor looked fresh and polished in a light blue, unbuttoned dress shirt with rolled-up sleeves, paired with classic black pants and shiny leather shoes. His silver watch added a finishing touch to the outfit. The look was a stark contrast to the casual, scruffy attire Ben typically favors in his everyday life. What surprised the public most was Affleck’s rejuvenated appearance, as he seemed to be embracing the single life away from Lopez. The two-time Oscar winner sported a full beard, which he dyed black to cover the gray. Some speculated that he may have also dyed his neatly trimmed hair. Overall, Ben appeared much younger than before.
Seraphina, who recently cut her long hair and dyed it black, styled her locks in a creative, messy look. She went for a casual outfit—wearing a black T-shirt with olive cargo shorts, lilac socks with a fun print, and black-and-white sneakers. She was seen skateboarding down the street, carrying a black helmet in hand.
Affleck has two other children from his marriage to Jennifer Garner—18-year-old Violet, who left for college in Kentucky this summer, and 12-year-old Samuel. The two actors were married from 2005 to 2018.
Affleck and J.Lo were one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples in the early 2000s but split up just before their planned wedding. In 2021, they rekindled their romance and had a secret wedding in Las Vegas in 2022, followed by a grand celebration at Ben’s estate in Georgia on August 20.
Lopez is currently focused on her work and her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her marriage to actor and singer Marc Anthony. However, she’s set to make a big public appearance this Sunday at a special event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the American Music Awards.
The couple is also trying to sell their $68 million home, but they encountered a setback when a buyer pulled out of the deal at the last minute due to family circumstances. Selling the luxury estate would have marked a significant step in dividing their combined $550 million assets. The lack of a prenuptial agreement is expected to complicate the divorce process, but both have hired high-profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser to handle the legalities.
