Two days after the global premiere of the post-apocalyptic horror film starring Halle Berry, the 58-year-old actress decided to share some behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot. Naturally, she chose the most striking ones. On social media, Berry posted a video from her dressing room where, while holding up her hair, she showcased her lush armpit hair, the work of artist Norma Patton-Lowin.

“Mom in the making. One of the most challenging characters I’ve had the pleasure of portraying. #NeverLetGo in theaters everywhere!” she captioned the carousel of images, aiming for a humorous tone.
However, not everyone appreciated her humor.

“Oh my God, you scared me!!! Thank goodness it’s just a movie,” commented Tami Roman, star of “The Basketball Wives.”
“How my heart dropped at the sight of that armpit hair nearly ruined decades of infatuation,” said another follower.
“Actors will go to great lengths to portray their roles. For a moment, it looked like Halle had jungles in her armpits,” added a third.

In the film “Never Let Go,” a psychological thriller from the creator of “Mirrors” and “Oxygen,” Alexandre Aja, Halle Berry plays a woman living in a secluded cabin with her two sons. Her character believes that evil lurks outside the walls of their home, so they can only step outside if tied up. Everything changes when one of the boys decides to discover what truly lies beyond their safe haven.
