The main star of 2000s rom-coms, Amanda Bynes, has taken control of her life after several years of battling mental health issues and announced that she is taking her first steps in the fashion industry. In 2019, the 38-year-old actress graduated from FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and is currently working on the first collection for her own brand, Asspizza, in collaboration with designer Austin Babbit.

Recently, in her Instagram stories, the actress showcased the first samples—a t-shirt and shorts—and hinted that her professional education has been very useful to her. “My thesis project at FIDM in product development has paid off,” she wrote.

It’s worth noting that just last year, it was reported that Amanda Bynes, star of the film “She’s the Man,” was once again admitted to a psychiatric facility. This happened almost immediately after her discharge from another hospital, due to a nervous breakdown that occurred while she was on the street.
