Trouble seems to follow the Hollywood star closely. Britney revealed that she has avoided public appearances for the past six months and has been wearing large-framed glasses due to an incident that occurred in her California home. According to Britney, she usually asks her housekeeper to light the fireplace in her bedroom. One day, she decided to do it herself, which resulted in a painful facial burn.

“Something really dangerous happened six months ago. I was in my room, lit the fire, and suddenly it flared up in my face. This issue had come up before, but I typically asked my security guard to light the fireplace because I was afraid it would flare up again. But not this time. I just threw everything in, and it literally flew back at me, burning all my eyelashes and eyebrows. And you see this childlike hairstyle, this bangs? That’s basically from six months ago,” Spears explained.
The singer experienced painful sensations on her face that lasted for several hours, with no one around to help her. “The person I was with just wouldn’t wake up, and I thought I would have to go to the emergency room and all that. I figured I had a second or third-degree burn because my whole face was burned,” said the pop princess.
The incident occurred around three in the morning. According to the artist, she couldn’t sleep until morning—she tried applying ice to her face, but it hurt too much to touch her skin. Afterward, the “Toxic” singer took three painkillers and went to bed. “It was very, very painful, but now everything is fine.”

This fire incident happened four years after the Grammy winner accidentally burned down her home gym after leaving two candles unattended. “Hey guys, I’m in my gym right now. I haven’t been here for about six months because I burned my gym to the ground. Unfortunately, it was an accident. I was walking past the door when the flame went ‘boom’ and erupted! By the grace of God, the alarm went off, and no one was hurt during the serious incident,” the singer shared in 2020.
