Angelina Jolie recently had a new photo shoot, and despite the fact that she is incredibly beautiful there, her look is somehow either heavy, or tired, or both.
If you compare her old photos, you can’t say that her smile used to be very frequent and wide – after all, Jolie is not Julia Roberts – but nevertheless, the photos did not emanate such a strong sense of hopelessness and despair as they do now.
On the right is a girl who is trying to be a femme fatale. On the left is a femme fatale who is tired of this life.
The drooping corners of her lips, the suffering in her eyes, the unusual hair color – after all, many of us are more accustomed to the dark brown hair on her – all this together creates a heavy impression, which is strange, because the photographs themselves are really very beautiful.

What are the reasons for this difference?
There may be several of them.
Firstly, Angelina Jolie has always built her image in the eyes of the public – strong, independent, charismatic, and when we pretend to be something for a long time, we eventually become it. “Fake it till you make it” is a well-known proverb meaning “pretend until you become it”.
Secondly, her life was not easy at all – starting with the loss of her mother at a fairly early age, continuing with health problems, and ending with a difficult divorce, scandals and discussions in the press. It is not surprising that she has become so fused with her unsmiling image that now it is difficult for her to get out of it.
In contrast, let’s look at Monica Bellucci.
She also started acting in films quite young, and now she is at a serious age. If Jolie is 49 years old, then Monica is 60, and yet in her current photographs we see lively laughing eyes, and wrinkles, which she is not ashamed of.
And although her personal life with Vincent Cassel was also interrupted by divorce, her daughter Deva and many wonderful memories of their relationship did not allow Monica to fall into the abyss of depression and spoil her beauty.
Monica Bellucci herself says that she does not accept plastic surgery, loves her wrinkles and folds, and is also okay with the fact that her figure changes with age.
One can only envy her love of life and beauty, as well as her adequacy of self-perception.
