Demi was only 18 years old when she married musician Freddy Moore in 1981. They met two years earlier in a nightclub, and at that time, Freddy, who was 29, was already married. However, this did not prevent his romance with 16-year-old Demi. The couple quickly moved in together, and soon Moore finalized his divorce and proposed to his new partner. Demi, born Guynes, took her husband’s last name.

Freddy and Demi were inseparable and even worked together. Freddy wrote music and had a small role in the 1982 horror film “Parasite,” which marked Demi’s screen debut and featured her in the leading female role.
However, in September 1984, Demi filed for divorce from Moore. Later, Freddy remarked about her, “I have never met a woman with a more obsessive need to be loved.” Demi later confessed that she had cheated on him just before their wedding.

Sadly, Freddy faced memory issues as he aged, a fate that also befell Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. In 2014, Freddy was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. In his final years, he was cared for by his third wife, Rena.

After a severe health decline due to a brain hemorrhage, Freddy Moore lived in a nursing home in Los Angeles until his death on August 25, 2022, at the age of 72.
