Katy Perry admitted that she used “magic” to win over her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. The 39-year-old American pop star made this revelation on the Kyle and Jackie O show ahead of her performance at the AFL Grand Final. Jackie O Henderson asked Katy if it was love at first sight or if things developed more slowly.
“Definitely more slowly. I cast a little spell for him, and it came true,” the singer replied. This confession intrigued everyone, including news anchor Brooklyn Ross, who asked Katy to elaborate on the spell..

Katy explained that she was going through a “difficult” period in her life and felt like she was “stuck in a loop” when it came to love. “I literally said, ‘You know what? I’m going to write down a recipe for what I want in my future partner,'” she shared.

“I wrote two things that really stood out to me: someone who would meet me on my adventure language, my love language, and someone who would be as spiritually curious as I am,” Katy described her ideal partner. She added that she and Orlando first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party, and their first conversation was… about fast food!
“I had ordered some In-N-Out burgers at the awards show, and he stole one off the table. And I was like, ‘That’s interesting. You’re interesting. Hello. Don’t take my burger, but take my burger,'” Perry said excitedly. After that memorable meeting, the couple began dating, and in 2019, Orlando proposed to her.

In August 2020, the couple welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove. Katy refers to their family as “noisy” and calls them a real “team of chaos.” Recently, Perry also shared an interesting tip on how to win over your partner’s ex, which is definitely worth noting.
