Designers turned a one-room apartment in a five-story building into a full-fledged home for a young family and their two cats.

In 28 square meters there is a bedroom with enough space for storage and a small work area, a kitchen that takes on the functions of a common room, a bathroom and a comfortable hallway.

Common area
This apartment does not have a separate place to meet guests, its functions have been taken over by the kitchen. The traditional 6 square meters for Khrushchev-era apartments house a cooking area and a dining room. The designers were able to add a soft sofa to receive guests.

Personal space
The only room was given over to the bedroom. A couple of adjacent walls and the door were painted blue, the other two walls were painted light gray. Quartz vinyl was used for the floor here, as in other rooms. The balcony door and the balcony itself were completely illuminated, which added lightness to the interior.

Entrance to the apartment
The hallway is quite small, so they decided to do without unnecessary furniture. A shoe cabinet and coat hooks make up the welcome area. In the hallway, they found a place for a tall cabinet, in which a refrigerator and a couple of drawers that they could not place in the kitchen are hidden.

Bathroom and toilet
The bathroom consists of two small separate rooms. The bathroom now has ceramic granite tiles that imitate stone and wood.

The installation of a shower cabin allowed the space to be expanded; it is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain and a glass partition.
