Molly faced many challenges in her life, with her main focus being on her son, Tommy. The constant moving from town to town and school to school took its toll on him, leading to disruptive behavior such as starting fights and harassing other children. Molly never expected that a call from the school principal would bring back a part of her past that she thought had faded away.
The tension between her and her husband, Nigel, increased at home, especially since Tommy was never recognized as Nigel’s child and was often referred to as “your son.” One evening, Nigel snapped, saying, “Why can’t you control your son?” Molly was deeply hurt by Nigel’s rejection of Tommy, even after being together for years.

The next day, Molly attended a meeting at the school to address Tommy’s disruptive behavior and was surprised to see her ex-boyfriend Christian standing alongside the principal. “I see myself in him,” Christian, who had long been separated from Tommy, said as he looked at her. “I want to make things right because I made a mistake.”
Although Molly wasn’t sure how to respond to his sudden reappearance, she knew that something had to change. When she returned home from another argument with Nigel that evening, she found him unconscious, holding a bottle of alcohol.
Finally, Molly decided to take a stand. “We’re going somewhere better, Tommy,” she declared as she packed their bags and woke him up. “Somewhere our love will be appreciated.”
As they left the apartment, Molly felt hope for the first time in years.
