Rosa Ramirez, an American woman, recently decided to get a haircut after not having one for 25 years. Her hair had grown to such a length that she would occasionally step on it. Despite her husband’s attempts to persuade her to change her hairstyle, she had always been proud of her 1.5-meter-long hair.
Eventually, she made the decision to cut it to shoulder length with the help of some friends. The owner of the hair salon where she got her haircut, Eda Motchka, mentioned that they were used to seeing her with the same hairstyle every time she visited.
However, there was a special reason behind her decision. She donated four feet of her hair to Locks of Love, an organization that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer. “I believe it could bring some joy to someone dealing with a serious illness,” remarked Ramirez.
