Kate Middleton’s younger brother, James Middleton, released his memoirs *”Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life”*, in which he explains why he rarely communicates with his famous sister. In a new excerpt that has come to the attention of journalists, he revealed his thoughts on Kate’s relationship with Prince William.
James Middleton admitted that Prince William had to earn his trust. Initially, he observed the monarch closely and over time realized that William had genuine feelings for Catherine.
“I remember checking him out when we first met. Did he deserve my sister? He had to earn my trust,” recalls James.

Moreover, William spent a lot of time with the Middleton family and always tried to smooth over tensions when relatives began to argue over trivial matters, such as during card games.
William’s love for animals also helped improve his standing with the Middleton family. James quickly noticed how the prince won the approval of his beloved dog, Ella. Over time, Prince William managed to become a part of the Middleton family.

“William has been in our lives for so long, and we’ve grown to love him dearly. He feels like our older brother, and he and Catherine are such a good match, truly made for each other. William is lucky to have married my capable, grounded older sister. I was absolutely sure that they love each other. It was nice to see how he instilled confidence in her. She blossomed. I knew he would take care of her, and he does to this day,” he concluded.
Earlier, Kate Middleton shared in a video that she had undergone a course of chemotherapy.
