This “Santa Barbara” will be eternal: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez appeared together in public. So far, the spouses have been captured by paparazzi for the first time since the news that the singer filed for divorce – and have completely confused everyone. But first things first.
Reporters ambushed the ex-lovers near a luxurious hotel in Beverly Hills, where they had arrived to have lunch with their children. Jennifer and Ben arrived in the same car: Affleck was driving, and Lopez was in the front passenger seat. Daily Mail journalists are sure that in some of the pictures you can see how J. Lo is wiping away tears, and the actor is speaking harshly to her.
But Page Six insiders report exactly the opposite information. The publication, citing an anonymous source, notes that in the restaurant, Lopez and Affleck “held hands and kissed,” and their children from previous marriages sat at the next table – apparently so as not to disturb the reunited lovebirds.
The situation is really complicated: compare at least the two photos below. In the first, Affleck seems to be expressing some claims to the singer, and in the second, Ben and J. Lo are almost holding hands. And which one should we believe?
And Internet users don’t know what to think either. Hopeless romantics believe in the couple’s reunion, while skeptics warn the spouses against falling into the vicious circle of scandals and reconciliations again. And neutral observers are simply stocking up on popcorn: as one Page Six reader wrote, “I used to not understand what people find so interesting in soap operas, but now I’m following it with all my eyes.”
