Sonia van der Berg, hailing from the Netherlands, openly documents her experience with a hair transplant, which played a crucial role in overcoming her insecurities and elevating her self-esteem.
During her teenage years, Sonia grappled with self-consciousness stemming from her high hairline, often fearing that windy days would expose her forehead and make her a target for teasing.

Last year, she embarked on a journey to find ways to minimize the appearance of her forehead, ruling out surgery as too drastic of a step.

Ultimately, Sonia opted for a hair transplant, a procedure lasting six hours and costing 3000 euros. While the change was subtle, it had a profound impact, empowering her to let go of the sense of vulnerability. She is now able to confidently experiment with a variety of hairstyles that she previously felt were beyond her reach.

Sonia aspires to be a source of inspiration for other women, emphasizing that there’s no reason to feel embarrassed about one’s appearance. Her experience serves as a testament to the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to shape their own looks and that embracing one’s unique traits is a source of pride.
