On his Instagram, the legendary Elton John, who recently sold items from his wardrobe on eBay, shocked fans with the news that he has partially lost his vision and cannot see from one eye. This happened due to a deterioration in his health following a severe infection he endured. The worsening occurred last summer. However, according to the singer, there is hope for recovery, although the process will be slow.
The artist was treated at home under medical supervision. The star is feeling better now, but the 77-year-old Elton has not shared more details.
“Over the summer, I battled a severe eye infection that unfortunately left me with limited vision in one eye. I am recovering, but it is an extremely slow process, and it will take some time before vision returns to the affected eye,” John shared.
