In the midst of his divorce from Melanie Griffith, Antonio Banderas started a relationship with German financier Nicole Kempel. Despite skepticism about their more than 20-year age difference, the couple has been together for almost a decade, spending most of their free time with each other. Recently, Banderas shared a photo with Nicole on his blog, along with the caption, “There are moments that will stand the test of time. Nicole and I.”
Banderas’s blog, which has over 3.9 million followers, received an outpouring of supportive comments from fans: “So beautiful! Greetings from Greece,” “I’m crazy about you! Having been married twice before, Antonio Banderas is not in a rush to tie the knot again. “I’m sort of married. Nicole is my wife, I am her husband, and we get along great,” he remarked. Nicole has even changed her name to “Nicole Banderas” on social media, although no official announcements about their marriage have been made. The couple has lived in various countries, traveling between England, Spain, and the United States before eventually settling in Banderas’s hometown of Malaga in Andalusia, Spain.
Antonio and Nicole first crossed paths at a party during the Cannes Film Festival, where Banderas initially mistook Kempel for her twin sister. “Suddenly Nicole appeared, and my heart started pounding. They look identical, but I saw something in Nicole that captivated me,” he shared.
In 2017, Banderas suffered a heart attack, and he believes Nicole was his guardian angel. “When I started experiencing symptoms, she immediately understood what was happening. Nicole put an aspirin under my tongue, and it saved my life. I got a second chance, and since then, something in my life has changed,” Banderas recalled. He stressed that after his experience, many things he once considered important lost their significance. For him, the only things that truly matter are his daughter Stella, friends, and family. We also showcased the appearance of the actor’s 27-year-old daughter.
