According to an insider close to Angelina Jolie, the actress is very interested in developing a close relationship with Colin Farrell. In fact, they have known each other for a long time—since they worked together on Oliver Stone’s film *Alexander* in 2004. At that time, their colleagues were witnesses to a brief fling between them.
Both were single at the time—Jolie had just divorced Billy Bob Thornton, and Farrell had split from Kim Bordenave—but their relationship did not develop into anything serious. The insider says that they were not ready for it. Jolie was about to meet Brad Pitt a year later, and Farrell was struggling with his alcohol addiction.
