The 78-year-old Hollywood actor and his fiancee have been together for 27 years. Sylvester Stallone spoke touchingly to Jennifer Flavin on her birthday.
The marriage of one of the most successful artists in the world and a former model has lasted since 1997. The couple have three daughters – 27-year-old Sofia, 26-year-old Sistine and 22-year-old Scarlett. Jennifer turned 56 years old and on this occasion Sylvester showed rare archival family footage taken at the beginning of their romance.
In one of them, lovers posed on board a yacht at a resort surrounded by greenery and mountains. The Rocky actor wore black swimming trunks and showed off an athletic figure with a powerful torso and ripped abs. The look was completed with sunglasses. Stallone leaned on the side of the boat and hugged his wife around the waist. Jennifer, who is 22 years younger than her husband, wore a black one-piece swimsuit with bare shoulders. She struck a striking pose, showing off her model-like figure with long legs. Another photo showed the couple walking together along busy streets while on vacation.
“Happy birthday to my wife Jennifer! The kids and I think you are absolutely amazing. We love you always! — Sylvester spoke touchingly. The actor’s chosen one responded to the message. “My eternal love! I love you and our daughters more than anything in the world!” – Flavin answered.
Jennifer was only 19 years old when she was first introduced to Sylvester, by which time he was already a world-famous and twice-divorced 40-year-old actor. They confirmed their relationship when they appeared on the carpet in 1990. However, in 1994, the Hollywood macho shocked the bride when he informed her of the separation, and did it through the FedEx service.
“He sent me a six-page letter, handwritten in pen, and it was pretty sloppy,” Jennifer recalled. The actor admitted that he cheated on Jen with model and actress Janice Dickinson. However, Stallone soon realized his mistake and began to seek forgiveness. In 1995, the couple reunited, and two years later they got married, reports the Daily Mail.
The couple became a rare example of a long-lasting Hollywood marriage, but that image was nearly destroyed in 2022 when Flavin unexpectedly filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage. Fortunately, a month later the couple reconciled and moved in together again. In a subsequent interview, Sylvester admitted that the breakup occurred due to the fact that he devoted himself entirely to his career, not devoting time to his wife and daughters. After the lesson that Jennifer taught him, the actor realized that he did not have much time left to make his family happy.
