No matter how reliable the walls of Buckingham Palace might be, sometimes information leaks through that the royal family would prefer to keep private.
Recently, it was revealed that the marriage between Kate Middleton and Prince William is far from perfect. And it’s not just because of the persistent rumors about the prince’s infidelities that his wife has to tolerate. Royal figures are also human, and they experience emotions just like the rest of us.
The latest batch of details was leaked by a Kensington Palace employee who, understandably, wished to remain anonymous.
He stated that conflicts are not uncommon in the family of the potential king and queen:
“They really argue.”
Royal expert Tom Quinn confirmed the insider’s claims.
“One person who worked for them told me that they have conflicts. It’s not an ideal marriage. They have terrible arguments…. She might seem like a very calm person, and William does too. But it’s not always like that. The great stress for them is being constantly surrounded by palace staff. It’s like a Jane Austen novel… But while some couples throw vases and heavy objects at each other during arguments, the future kings of the United Kingdom throw pillows at each other. Everything is always kept under control.”
Other sources also suggest that Prince William is quite a domineering person and may raise his voice at those close to him. Sometimes, even his father, the king, receives his wrath.
