Ever wonder what your neighbors are up to when you’re away? One person placed a camera in their dacha garden and got a hilarious surprise watching their neighbor’s antics! 😆Curious to see what happened?
It was my husband who decided to install the camera. Having heard a lot of stories from friends in the village about theft from yards, he decided to protect our dacha in this way. He wants, that means he wants. I didn’t reprimand him, although I didn’t see much point in it. But soon we watched the first recordings from the camera
The CCTV camera was installed last summer from the Internet provider company. I won’t name it specifically, so as not to be caught in advertising again. I will say that this pleasure is inexpensive, in my opinion, about 400 rubles per month of use.
The specialists arrived and installed everything within an hour. The camera was hung on the veranda under the roof. Its perspective just covers our vegetable garden and garden. You can watch the live video in the app on your phone.
The installation was carried out in the evening, so none of the neighbors saw what was happening. And we didn’t tell anyone anything. What for? This is our business, we will do what we want.
A few days later we decided to see what the camera was filming there on weekdays while we were not at the dacha. As soon as the first shots came out, I almost burst out laughing from what I saw.
It turns out that while we are not at the dacha, a neighbor regularly comes into the yard (we were convinced of this by watching the video over several days), both during the day and late in the evening. She feels like a full-fledged mistress there! She picks bunches of greens, collects berries, vegetables, apples – in general, everything that can be eaten. Moreover, I didn’t notice this when there was no camera. He is a cunning man, he picks everything a little at a time, so the loss of the harvest is not noticeable.
And the funny thing is that my neighbor goes around taking pictures of my flowers and shrubs, and also shows them to someone via video calls. The video from the surveillance camera clearly shows how she walks through the garden with the phone, talks (opens her mouth, unfortunately there is no sound), brings the phone closer to the flowers, then back to her face – explains something, gesticulates. It feels as if someone is bragging about “his” garden.
And the neighbor looks like a normal woman. I wouldn’t even think such a thing about her. I don’t feel sorry for the harvest that she collected in secret from me, God bless him. I don’t like the fact that she basically encroached on private property. Well, it’s like, we don’t just put fences away from each other…
And the funny thing is how a neighbor ended up in our garden. At the end of the section where the chain-link runs, she carefully removes the mesh, walks in and hooks it into place. Back in the same way.
Having learned about the “raids” in our absence, my husband nailed down the chain-link, and the neighbor never came again. And we didn’t tell her that we saw her at our site. For some reason I don’t like this conversation at all, but in the end we let it slip about the camera. She was embarrassed, but didn’t show it. If it weren’t for video surveillance, I probably would never have known such details.
How do you feel about video surveillance in your dacha?
