A compassionate man transforms the life of a homeless woman who had been sleeping in the dirt for a decade by constructing a new home for her. Now look how he built the tiny house and what it looks like form inside.
Thank you for your generosity, a man builds a new home for a homeless woman who has been forced to sleep in the mud for ten years.
Few individuals take the time to get to know a homeless person and discover how they ended up living on the streets alone.
However, in Los Angeles, a hero met the homeless person camped outside his house and did amazing things to aid.
Irene “Smokie” McGee has been living on the streets of South Los Angeles since her husband died and she lost her home ten years ago.
The 60-year-old spends her nights sleeping on the ground and her days collecting recycling to sell for food.
One neighbor met her and heard her story since she spent the most of her nights camped out in front of an apartment complex.
“She’s a human being, a 60-year-old mother and grandmother sleeping in the dirt, it’s just not right,” a resident called Elvis Summers said.
After they became friends, Elvis wanted to build Irene a house since he couldn’t take watching her sleeping on the streets every night.
The generous neighbor constructed her a house consisting of wood he paid $500 for, siding and roofing provided by a neighboring company, and his own construction skills.
I simply wanted to build something secure and safe enough for her to stay warm.
After five days, Irene had a roof over her head.
Irene remembered on her first night in her new 3.5 ft by 8 ft home: “It felt so good, I was so relaxed, I think I must have slept half the day.”
Elvis creates this lovely tiny cottage in the video below.
