🌟 A Unique Child: Born with Her Heart Outside 🌟 What happened to this unique girl? Is she alive now?
Meet Bathsheba! She is 8 years old and looks no different from other children. However, the girl has one big feature – her heart is located outside, and not in the chest, like other people.
This rare pathology occurs 1 time in 1,000,000 people. It is completely unsafe for the life of a little girl, since this vital organ is practically unprotected. In normal people, the heart is protected by the ribs and the pectoral layer, but in this case it is only under a thin layer of skin.
Doctors cannot help her yet: moving the organ is too risky.
Bathsheba leads a passive lifestyle. She is not recommended to run or jump, as even a minor injury can be fatal.
Bathsheba’s parents support her in everything and try to make sure that she lives a full life. They really hope that science will soon find a way to solve this rare problem.
I would like to wish her happiness and health!
