When the man’s grandparents died of old age, he and his family moved into their old house. At one time, by the way, old people had very interesting hobbies.
Grandfather loved ancient weapons, and grandmother was an avid numismatist. The couple thought that the collections had gone under the hammer a long time ago. But everything turned out to be much more complicated.
While renovating the house, the couple did not pay attention to the closet under the stairs.
Moreover, for a long time no one bothered to look under the dusty rug lying there.
Turning over the dirty rag, the man gasped in surprise. Under the rug was a safe embedded in the floor!
The specialist the couple called spent a lot of time fiddling with the lock. He later said that he would have refused the job if he had known what he was facing.
But the master finally got the job done, collected his tools and left. The whole family watched the opening of the long-locked safe!
No one had any idea what was in the vault.

Endlessly surprised family members pulled album after album out of storage. The volumes of goods found there were amazing!
As it turned out later, under the floor of the closet lay most of the collection of the protagonist’s deceased grandmother. Just unbelieveble!
In addition to coins, there were also banknotes. Unfortunately, a pipe leak killed most of them.
The coins, however, successfully withstood the moisture test. The whole family spent a long time sorting the wealth that unexpectedly fell into their hands.
Silver dollars, carefully encased in plastic pockets, are just a small part of these treasures. A real find in a million!
The half-decayed, sometimes rotten albums contained precious contents. The couple couldn’t believe their luck!
And a little later, even a small chest was removed from the still empty storage room. Its contents were a complete mystery.
The miracles never expected to end. The metal box was chock full of jewelry!
The couple could not believe that all these things had been lying for a long time in a forgotten closet under a rug that had faded a long time ago.
