The couple’s beloved pet, a Chihuahua named Nala, has passed away. Nicola dedicated a heartfelt text to the dog on the forbidden network, accompanying it with touching shots – including a black and white photograph of the dog and grandmother.
“It was the hardest month of my life. I can’t even find the words to describe my grief on so many levels. Nala was perfectly healthy when we took her to the groomer, but she came out hyperventilating. She couldn’t breathe normally. We rushed her to the vet, and a few hours later she died,” said the actress. The girl added that Nala was her “beautiful queen” for 9 long years and it is still difficult for her to come to terms with the loss. “One day without Nala on Earth seems like an eternity. I would like to take her back into my arms. I pray she meets my grandma. I hope I see them soon,” Nicola concluded her post.
Brooklyn also shared an emotional message. “Dear Nala, we miss you very much. You were taken from us unexpectedly and too early. We hope that others will not experience loss after such a simple procedure as grooming. You were the sweetest little girl and we will always think of you. We know that you are looking and barking at us from above. We love you so much and miss you terribly,” Brooklyn concluded.
