Initially, this living space was a standard and comfortable apartment in the Khrushchev style. However, the main characters of our story decided to give it a completely new look, using the art of partial redevelopment. To make room for a refrigerator in the kitchen, they had to move the wall separating the kitchen and the bathroom, in favor of the latter. This created an amazing niche that was perfect for housing a refrigerator. In addition, in order to maximize the convenience and harmony of the interior space, they decided to move the doorways slightly, eliminating the kitchen door altogether.
In the hallway, the walls were painted a calm gray shade, which gave the room a neutral and elegant feel. The front door, purchased at a bargain price, had a few minor blemishes on the inside, but these had been creatively decorated, adding to its originality and character. And the entire apartment was covered with quartz vinyl flooring, which gave the room a clean and modern style.
The traditional beige design of the 90s has been completely replaced by more modern cool shades. The color of the bedroom was chosen according to the bedding they liked.
Then we turned the room into a real artistic masterpiece! Curtains and tulle added a touch of sophistication, and a variety of accessories coordinated beautifully with the new color palette.
The owners made a wise decision to install drawers under the bed, which not only saved space, but also made the interior even more practical and functional.
On the front side of the bed we created a spectacular decorative partition with slats, where the TV was comfortably placed. Behind this partition there is a cozy mini-office and a compact dressing room, skillfully integrated into the overall design of the space.
We transformed the kitchen space using cool tones and a linear composition of furniture. The splashback was given new life thanks to slate paint, and the old radiators now acted as elegant black accents in the interior.
The children’s room, only eight square meters, turned into a real magical shelter at the request of its little owner. There is a bed set up here, which is perceived as a little house, with a cute tablecloth on the roof. And two of the walls are decorated with wallpaper with a cheerful floral design that creates an atmosphere of joy and life.
There is a cozy sofa by the window, which at first glance seems ordinary, but in fact consists of three mattresses, ready to transform into a sleeping place in the blink of an eye when the time comes for fairy tales and dreams.
The bathroom originally had a shallow bathtub, but the picturesque adventures in this cozy corner decided to replace it with a spacious shower. And for cases when the little housewife wants to dive into the bubble joy, there is always a mobile bathtub ready to arrange water fun.
An unusual solution to the layout of the communications meant that the shower tray was raised by 28 centimeters, opening up valuable space underneath for drawers. Now this place hides the little housewife’s treasures: toys, books and the treasures of her fantasies.
